Electric vehicles are changing how America goes camping

This is our plan - if EV trucks with range weren't available we wouldn't be getting a camper. Too much stress and bother towing with ICE for me. Advantages I can see
  • Cheaper camper - I'm pricing out one that has $10k worth of solar and lithium, all unnecessary with having an EV with a 212 kWh battery.
  • No worries about driving temps, transmission, motor, brakes. Including trailer brakes, I've seen plenty of videos of people who overheat their trailer brakes and are stuck by the side of the road
  • Plenty of torque and power, though to be fair it's not the old days anymore, modern trucks seem to have enough grunt
  • Quiet! People go out in nature for peace and quiet, what ruins that is the sound of generators and diesel trucks
I'm hoping/expecting that by 2030 the worldwide ambient noise levels will be noticeably decreased.
