I cannot speak specifically to the Silverado, but based on the pictures posted here of the charging plug configuration, it appears to be the same as my wife's new MME. Every public charging station I have looked at, with the exception of Tesla Superchargers, supports this format. All of the systems you mentioned above should work.

The Silverado EV uses the CCS1 charge port. Any of the independent charging stations (Electrify America, EVGo, Chargepoint, etc) but not Tesla Superchargers (currently, that may change) can charge your Silverado EV. What is important is the charging capability of the units and what your Silverado accepts. The higher the KW rating of the charging station, the faster it will charge - up to max rating of the Silverado. But even at that, there will be a charging curve for the Silverado EV that will reduce charging speed as the battery "fills up."

In my experience with my Bolts, the most reliable chargers have been from Electrify America. Their stations typically have 4-8 chargers, split between 150 and 350kW. EVGo is my second choice due to price and location. I try to avoid Chargepoint due to cost and Blink due to unreliability. But like Tojesky said, all of them use the CCS1 standard and will work with the Silverado. CCS1 has become the defacto standard in the US. As far as I know, the Leaf with CHAdeMo is the only vehicle to use something beside CCS1 (excluding Tesla).

What I want to know is whether navigating to a fast charger will cause the battery to precondition en-route, similar to Tesla. Will the plethora of charging networks/apps be recognized or baked in to the system to allow this?

Another thing - DCFC is "expensive" compared to charging at home, and should not be a primary charging solution. I understand that installing a L2 charger at a person's residence isn't always feasible, but it is far more cost effective - even a "slow" L2 charger (30-32 amp) should be workable for most. For comparison: EA fast charging is 31 cents per kWh with the $4/mo membership, at my home it is 11 cents/kWh.

Like you, I primarily use Electrify America. However, I do use Blink when I travel to Plano, TX. The station I use (Level 2 - 24 amp) is convenient to my daughter's house and I can leave my Bolt there to charge for a few hours.

Ga Power offers an EV rate plan that offers elec at $0.015/kWh from 11pm to 7am. Of course, summer peak rate on that plan is $0.20/kWh… yikes!
