I know the new multi-flex midgate is an option offered on the Silverado EV RST First Edition model (the very first electrified Silveardos that will arrive in dealers) but what about other Silverado EV models?
When will midgate optioned Silverado EVs arrive?
WT/Work Truck won’t have it, probably not even as an option I’d guess. From the notices people are getting it looks like other trims will be available in 2024 as a 2025 model. Next year (2023 as a 2024 mode) will mainly be fleet with a corral of RST super trucks.

My original reservation (a late one) said “2024”, but I haven’t gotten the reservation wording switch on my reservation page yet. Basically the page starts off with no date and just says “WT or RST”, then for people it’s beginning to switch to “2024” with no mention of trim, indicating a range of trims.
Yeah that midgate is the trick, I’ll drop the roof and air suspension and keep the rest. I’ll add one of the advertised bed cabs and have the ultimate stealth camping machine

- rear steer
- long range battery
- Plus the normal options like bed liner etc
