Should be the same truck underneath - Ultium/Ultifi with similar components and layout (Ultium battery comes in different configurations so these two will probably the same one), difference will be all the visible bits and features. GMC generally are basically upscale Chevy’s, and with BEV’s I expect they’ll push this ‘under the skin’ similiarity even further (e.g ICE GMC engines were different from Chevy but don’t expect anything like that here).

For me the only interesting question is what, if anything, is the killer feature? On the Silverado you might say it’s the midgate and rear steer. Pretty high bar, what could this truck do in addition to that? Or will it mainly be cosmetic interior?

Edit: yeah looked at some pages comparing the two ICE versions, looks like historically it was basically cosmetic.

I just cannot see myself on a cross country road trip in an EV just yet.
I would consider it. I live in Alaska and will consider making the trip when these trucks are ready. I have a Silverado reservation, currently in GA.

Although I recently drove the Alaska Highway, and there are stretches where it gets questionable whether even a big ICE truck can make it to the next fuel stop -- in northern BC and the Yukon. My range was about 400 miles with a big diesel truck. EV infrastructure is definitely not there yet, but planned.

I'm sure it will look different since the Sierra and Silverado are quite different and with the Sierra being the luxury brand I wonder how much the Denali will cost versus the RST 1st Edition. More thank 105k? I guess we will find out tomorrow.
