Seating for 6

I'm going to say no you cannot replace the center console as the Silverado EV doesn't have a column shifter.

Maybe in the future another WT variant will have bench seating.

I got the 2022 Silverado and EV mixed up in my head this morning.

I only knew because I’m hoping for a bench option too since it’s my favorite thing about my current truck. I don’t think we will see one though.

Chevy, please for the love that all is holy shrink or remove the center console by the floor to allow for freedom of movement for the drivers right leg and the drivers right knee. Make it a fold down armrest console to allow for a jump seat in the front row.

Welcome @RemoveCenterConsole is it a deal breaker for you if Chevy doesn't make changes to the center console for the Silverado?

Yes, unless it can be easily removed. Otherwise I will wait for the cybertruck which doesn't have the center console area by the floor giving me right knee and leg room I have been looking for. It's absolutely insane how large center consoles have become the past couple years continuing to shrink drivers leg and knee room in exchange for a "sleek" looking interior design. Drivers comfort is more important than what some interior designers consider to be good looks.

When you look at the Silverado EV's dimensions - 233.0 inches long,145.7-inch wheelbase and height of 76.0 inches it's about the same size as a 2022 Silverado 1500 crewcab.

Yes front bench seat and I’m in ! I want to replace my truck but I have 4 kids so a front bench seat is a must have for me. This would make the first usable EV for me as the Rivian is out of this world expensive and I need a truck that has to handle heavy terrain and gets abused.

This is the main reason I don’t know if the Silverado can replace my Titan. I’ve got seating for 6 which comes in handy quite often.

Yes, PLEASE include the 6 seat option! This would probably be a deal breaker for me. I'm a climate change activist looking to replace my minivan with an electric truck, but I can only do so if there's a 6-seat option. Chevy, are you listening? For me at least it's 6-seater or no go.
