I my pre-order confirmation is time stamped 3 minutes after the order banks opened. I'm not sure how far back in the queue that puts me. However I'm interested in the silversdo. I have a Lightning, an order on a hummer and a cybertruck. I'm curious to see what the final specs and pricing become. I'm hoping to learn a few things here as we advance towards production.

Cheers all.

Welcome!

WT or RST?

Purchasing from GM should be similar to the process you went through with your Lightning. You may find yourself helping EV nubies on this forum with the reservation, ordering, dealership and delivery experience.

I have a R1T but also have 1/5 Silverado EV reservation. I am looking for a trim between WT and RST so my expectation is mid to late 2025.

We had a reservation for a Lightning but cancelled it when we walked away from the MME we ordered. Long story with the dealership as a the bad guy.

I am an escapee from NJ just across the river from NYC.

I ordered an RST. The lightning process was simple and the dealership was great. I hope it's that easy, I'll be really happy.. We had an MME and sold it because of the HVBJB issue and Ford's handling of the situation. I replaced it with a Model S, which is what we had prior, just this past Saturday.

We are actually neighbors, we split time between our place on the UWS and our home in Monmouth County.

The MME was going to be our first EV but we ended up getting an EV6-GT Line. I liked the Y but my wife was intimidated by the lack of buttons.

We will never go back to ICE. For our needs EVs are a joy to own and drive, even though we now live in the PNW where the charging network is a work in progress.

How do you like your Lightning? Do you view the Silverado EV as potentially better or have a reservation as a backup plan?

I reserved the Silverado EV as backup just in case our R1T was troublesome. So far it has not had any issues and we are quite satisfied. However 2025 is a long ways off.
