Probably entering bootloader mode and flashing android prod - or - using dev mode to sideload software on the radio. With that, I don't think you'd be technical enough to understand the process if you didn't already have these ideas as to what they could potentially be doing to make this work.

I've only had the truck for a week and haven't looked. Where does the dealership connect the USB Drive to program the radio? I'm going to look tonight.

 

This is promising, it makes sense that since it’s running Android and GM isn’t very good at technology someone should be able to hack it to improve functionality.

Definitely not worth it. The software in the Silverado EV is perfect guidance Bluetooth wireless all work fine.
