Currently drive a PHEV Cadillac ELR. I am seeking to replace it as I have fallen in love with the electric side of my car. I'm wanting a fully electric and am interested in the Silverado EV. My concerns with it are the lack of a tax credit and whether it will actually get 400-mile range.
Hoping it isn't a marketing ploy. I'd be very happy with 300+. Meaning as I saw with the Lightning.Welcome to the forum! I think it will likely get 400+ miles of ranges. What is your minimum to make it a buy?
Hey @Telecomjedi welcome to the forum! It's hard to say yet since EPA testing isn't out and journalists/reviewers haven't gotten their hands on it. But I'm optimistic that 400 miles can be done in real world conditions. How long have you had the ELR for? What of range can you get in full electric mode?Live about an hour outside of the St Louis area in the farm country of Southern Illinois. Currently drive a PHEV Cadillac ELR. I think in perfect conditions I've gotten somewhere in the range of 45-50 miles. That's flat, 80 degrees, only fan on. Normally 40 or so in the warmer months and 30 or so in the cold months. I get about 60 mpg using electric and gas.Hey @Telecomjedi welcome to the forum! It's hard to say yet since EPA testing isn't out and journalists/reviewers haven't gotten their hands on it.
