Lol I don't understand GM's advertising strategy with the Silverado EV and Sierra EV. I keep seeing this thing show up as a paid placement in my social feeds and on Youtube. But there's literally nothing a prospective buyer can do at this time. Why they're spending paid media dollars on a truck that isn't even available for purchase in the next 365 days is mind boggling. They got enough free PR with the announcement... why spend on more eyeballs right now?
So many people who want an ICE Denali are stuck
waiting and waiting and waiting for builds that are being cancelled or delivered with missing features. Stoking demand with paid advertising for a 2024 vehicle just seems silly.
