53 days today in tge shop. They haven't done anything to it in more than a month
Have you contacted the EV concierge line ? 800-222-1020. The EV concierge told me to fill out a BBB Autoline complaint. Hopefully they agree to a repurchase without delay.

Update: Gm informed me that they have authorized a repurchase and have provided a letter to define the refund amount and the dealer to drop the vehicle off too. Waiting for the dealer to contact me.

My BBB case opened December 6.
GM was offered "final attempt to repair" on December 13. Mississippi law has that requirement. They had 10 "working" days from that date. That time has passed. My BBB agent is not responding to any messages so I guess I wait. GM said on their last call to me on December 31 they are not doing anything until the repair order is complete. I asked if that takes another 6 months or the dealership cannot repair do I just make the remaining 23 lease payments then?????
Like I keep saying GM has no respect for customers my experience with them has been 100% negative. I don't have a single positive interaction with them.

Get in touch with a lawyer that specializes in lemon law and start the process. The dealer knows the procedure and GM certainly does. They're taking advantage of either your ignorance of it or concern about doing it. It's a tool for consumers to assert our rights. Use it.

I would email GM and inform them that they have 5 business days to provide a repurchase commitment or you will contact a lemon law lawyer. That's what got them to stop their delay's for me.

So the first GM rep I had was with executive support. As soon as I opened a BBB Auto line claim I was given to somebody named Alexis to handle that. If you get her you might immediately request somebody else not only does she seem incompetent she's also not nice and does not keep her word on follow up. Then I got another call from another GM person who handles the 10-day notice. They all point at each other and say the other one has responsibility for this that and the other. Nobody has bottom line. The one thing they are telling me is that if I hire an attorney then this process stops and that process begins and I will get somebody else from General motors. Right now I'm going to let the Lemon Law arbitration BBB case play out. You are right they use every single excuse and everything they can to drag the process along. Does not make any sense to me it would have made way more sense for them to have taken the vehicle in trade giving me everything I had has value and I would have been in another one and been happy about it. Today I will never ever own another General Motors product again as long as I live

Is the problem diagnosed? Once it's diagnosed then the lemon law clock starts, at least in Texas. Regardless, I'd send a letter to their corporate on a lemon law template that basically states you expect the vehicle to be remedied in 30days or you will initiate a buy back. Assuming this is an option in your state.

As per this Out of Spec American EV sold in 2014 : only 7,428 Silverado EV sold in 2024
Considering 2024 were not a full year production and very limited production numbers followed by Optimizing and redsigning motor magnet, inverter to gain up to 9% efficiency for MY2025 and gm still ramping up for SEV 2025.
Could moderators update everyone here with the Low Milage Failure rate percentage of SEV sold in 2024 and if that still falls within the norms in industry.

No they don't know whats wrong with it. Mississippi law says 15 working days in the shop and a "final attempt to repair " 10 working days. I only had it 22 days and drove 1,850 miles. Its been in the shop since. GM corporate called on December 17 saying they had received final notice to repair and had shipped the dealer a module. Dealership confirmed that then when GM called again on December 31 saying the dealership had ordered the module around December 26th. Not clear if it was a 2nd module or what. Tgey really don't know what is wrong with the truck. Its just dead

GM is going to tell you whatever they can to keep you from getting professional representation. Fuck arbitration, fuck doing it yourself. Talk to a lawyer. The manufacturer is liable for the cost of the lawyer in Mississippi. A lawyer isn’t going to take the case if they don’t think they will get paid. From what you’ve written here, the limits for a lemon law buyback have been far exceeded.

As an aside, an incompetent dealer can cause a lemon law buyback. I worked for a motorcycle dealer that had a good reputation for diagnosing problems other dealers couldn’t find. The manufacturer sent us a few lemon law buyback bikes that other dealerships couldn’t fix. It was sometimes a bad crimp on an electrical connector or an odd valve adjustment. The bikes had desmodromic valve actuation which is confusing for some people.

Are you doing a repurchase, replacement or cash?
GM is repurchasing it and refunding my money, less insurance paid and interest paid on the loan. My guess is if they had to reimburse interest and insurance cost they would not drag their feet.

No. I sent an email notifying them if they did not explain why my truck did not meet NY lemon law I would hire one. A week later I got notified they would repurchase it.
Just received a phone call from my service manager at the Chevy dealer on my vehicle is. In replacing the module they discovered that one of the electric motors is leaking a lot of oil. So now I have to go to the dealership and authorize a repair on that. Today's day 57 the saga continues
