That's what I was thinking as well. But the whole thing of putting the charging connector on the hood, is a common thing with folks trying to park in these spots as a jab to EV owners.
Yup. Still doesn't justify the dick move. I haven't paid any attention as to who parks in those spots, so maybe it actually is a problem.
And I have to of course throw this out there... Maybe, just maybe, the picture could also be staged. 🤷♂️ Just saying...

Yes, I am also pretty annoyed with these spaces get ICE-ed by gas cars. I would love to think of a friendly but pointed way to get back at them and prevent this bad behavior. Some states have made this a ticketable offense.
