Chevy should consider making four wheel steering an option on the Work Truck WT model an option. Chevy thinks that the work trucks are used by farmers and ranchers where the feature is not worth it. But they are used on downtown construction sites as well with ultra tight parking spaces and site entrances. Four Wheel Steering would be worth it for these businesses.

I do not want 4-wheel steering. It's more expensive. It's more complicated. It adds weight.

There's a reason why it didn't last long when GM tried this 20 years ago.

Ideas from the past may have not worked well in the past due to different tech and manufacturing tech. Hybrids did not make sense in the 70s and the electronics were too expensive. Hybrids have become cheap to build due to cheap electronics and now are both cheap and reliable, usually more then their gas equivalents in terms of relialbity due to being mechanically simpler. Something tells me new cheaper to build four wheel steering may have come into their time now. Driving a large truck around the city is a pain in the ass as they are big and turning radius usually awefull. Four wheel steering may help that a lot.
