GM cuts salaried jobs and more could come as it views 2023 as critical year
It shouldn't be a surprise, but we're entering a recession (every leading indicator is there; but I know someone who only look at GDP will say there's no recession yet). GM's job cuts are relatively small (less than 5% of their workforce). But it's funny they'll pack millions into useless Super Bowl ads while simultaneously laying people off claiming they need to be smart with their money.

On Tuesday, GM cut part of its U.S. salaried workforce and will cut more jobs Wednesday globally for those who do not meet new performance standards.
