I’ve got condensation building up on the inside of my center middle light and bowtie light on my grill wondering if this is a known issue since I saw a video review of a reproduction unit that had the same thing and so does anyone else have this issue and did the dealer take care of it for you?

This is a known issue for several, it's a bad seal in the back of the emblem and whole thing needs to be replaced.

That's what's weird about this light. I don't see anywhere where water gets into this unit. I've replaced it myself and have looked at the back, top, sides and front of the light. No clue how water or moisture is getting in. But there's not really any way to prevent it. Just have to get it replaced under warranty and hope the new unit holds up longer. The light that came with my truck lasted about 3k miles. Hoping the new one lasts a lot longer than that!

It's not fixed, at least for me. After the original illuminated bow tie failed completely due to condensation build up the local dealer ordered a replacement. Took over a month to get it. Three days after replacement heavy condensation has already built up in the light.

That's ridiculous. Both in having to wait a month for a light and then it only lasting a few days. Sure it's fixed under warranty, but then having to take time out to go to the dealership and have them put the part on order. Then come back to have them install it a month later. Especially for something that is so prone to water and moisture blasted against it while driving. You would think they would have a better sealed unit.

And if it's not the RST light failing it's the gold part of the logo falling out of WT.

Typical GM stuff. Silverado EV is like one of those caricature paintings you get at the fair but in vehicle form for GM. They are every stereotype of GM you might imagine all in one and exaggerated.

GM has a TSB for the Gold emblem issue and how to repair, requires drilling 2 new holes for a better bracket IIRC.
