Looks like a realistic design. I'm sure first responder EVs will arrive soon. Range will be a big issue for police, fire fighters and ambulances though.

Chevy is working on fleet versions of the Silverado EV and I think within that will be version for first responders. NYPD and others like them can really benefit from having these, they already justified having MME's and Model 3's. As for departments further out of the city, I'm not so sure just yet.

Maybe they'll be used for non patrol use first then transition to that kind of work.

Do you think your local police service is likely to get one or another EV?
Already noticed some have the Explorer Hybrid while others don't and have made no plans to.

Chevy has a new Silverado Police Pursuit Vehicle coming so there could be a Silverado EV Police Pursuit coming in the near future too.
