This is a great video that shows how the Silverado Multi-Flex Midgate Pass-Through works and how adjustable it can be.
Chevy says that with the mid-gate down, we can fit objects as long as 10 feet, 10 inches. Insane.Nice!! Looks like 4x8 sheets of building material will slide right through that gate and stowed with the tailgate shut (hopefully).

There's going to be no shortage of space depending on how you configure the bed and midgate.Works just like my Avalanche does. One difference I noticed was the release on the bottom instead of in the middle below the glass. This is most likely due to now having the 60/40 spit. I‘ve hauled 12ft sheets of drywall with the tailgate down with no problem.
How long have you had your Avalanche for @clayman27180?Works just like my Avalanche does. One difference I noticed was the release on the bottom instead of in the middle below the glass. I’ve had my current one for about 10 years. I had a first gen 2002 before that. How long have you had your Avalanche for @clayman27180?
Thanks. I use Carworx Refinish Restorer. It works well on all plastics and lasts for months.Wow that’s a nice looking avalanche, looks just like my Escalade ext with the third brake light and color matched sail panels. What do you put on your covers to keep them so black and shiny?
Glad to see you've had it for so long! A few people I know got rid of them after going through transmission issues.I’ve had my current one for about 10 years. I had a first gen 2002 before that.

"Camped" that way in my Avalanche many times, midgate down, window in place, and bed cover on. I did also have the tent, but this was much quicker for an overnight stop. Might be a good way to get a nap while charging haha.Looks like I can throw some memory foam in there and sleep in the bed when I go camping. Can leave the midgate open so that I don't feel like I am in a coffin for when I get a bed cover
If I am too comfortable I won't make it to work 😂. In my ioniq 5 I just put the seat back when charging and take a nap since I have to get up early for work"Camped" that way in my Avalanche many times, midgate down, window in place, and bed cover on. Not sure but the animations on their web page make it look like 60 can come down by itself, but the glass might interfere with the 40 down by itself…then the animation shows both down with glass in place, or folding the glass down and then putting both down with the entire pass through totally openIn every photo/video I've seen so far they've shown only being able to do the 60 down with the 40 up. Any indication if you can do it the other way (40 down, 60 up)?
So far, Chevy has said it will not be available on the WT, which seems like a huge missed opportunity. It might be an option.
