My 7,500 mile service is coming up, I'll mention it to them.

I'm definitely in SuperCruise, with the green steering wheel, icons, hands-free, etc. There was a post a few months ago about SuperCruise 'ping pong', and that's exactly what I'm experiencing.

Speaking of lane departure assist, when I only have that enabled, it kinda sorta seems like it maybe politely asks the truck to perhaps scootch over a little. It doesn't really do much. My wife's car (VW ID.4) very aggressively kicks you back into the lane.

is the SEV RST lane departure assist supposed to be more definitive? Sometimes I forget it's even on since it seems to barely do anything. Perhaps my entire 'eyeball' system is not working quite right.
this is probably a redundant question, but you are doing the two steps for super cruise right? Step one activate adaptive cruise, then in sections where you see the green steering wheel available, you click the button on the steering wheel to activate hands free. Then the green led on the steering wheel lights up confirming you’re on a mapped road?

My 2025 loaner has a little play, but no ping pong. My 2024 has no play after updates on SC. Neither likes rough roads that have been worked on or are under construction. I actually feel Ford handles imperfect roads better, but probably because they have lane centering backing up their premapped software.

Confirmed turn signal feature for 2024 RST first edition. And MUCH a welcome update. Reduces the blind spot on the passenger side and helps when towing!
The first attempt at VWP, it didn't work. On my second trip to the dealership, I had to explain to the Tech about the USB/part 2 radio update. He didn't believe me at first and later admitted he skipped the USB update on the first day I had the truck in for service.

Question how was this tech looking up to see if the update was available for your vehicle? Where they looking up Vehicle VIN lookup tools? It will not show up in any Dealership software, unless GM has an open campaign for it... The only way to see the updates of the vehicle is to plug it into SPS and scan ALL the modules.

Also if they read 24-NA-143 GM said they should update the modules if the vehicle is brought in for ANY reason.
Is this update not available for the WT?

How long did they have it? It takes around 4 hours or so to complete.
I heard around 4:30pm today that it was done but was being washed. My service rep, who I trust, hasn't had a chance to verify yet by checking with the blinker. He'll text me after he verifies, but assuming it finished at the aforementioned time it took my dealership 1.5 days. Plan is to pick it up tomorrow. I'm already back from work. Will update here when I get it back. This is Ewing Buick GMC in Plano, TX, fyi. Maybe they'll be faster for the next customer as I'm pretty sure I was their first for this update.

Make sure he knows he has to turn on the option under settings to get the turn signal cam to work.

While on the subject of updates, I have a couple questions. I had a 2025 SierraEV Denali with a December build date that I bought in February. I received both OTA updates (N25-F172AE and N25-2498340) in March. Unfortunately, in May a kid smashed in the rear of me and totaled my truck. Saturday I picked a new one, this time with a May build date. Presently, it came with the N25-F172AE update but doesn't see any others.

Q1: with having a recent build date that is after the update release date, is there a chance I already have the other update and don’t need it?

Q2: I have seen a couple posts from DIY folks that have mentioned an amplifier update in addition of the A11 Radio update. Do we have any info on this update. I have to say that the new truck does have noticeably more bass than my previous one, so I’m wondering if it might already have this.

You for sure don’t have the updates. I have a march build and almost every single module had multiple updates

YES! Just got mine back, update complete! I REALLY like the sideview camera turn signal. Especially since mine has the flat passenger mirror. Don't care as much about the graininess, it gets the job done, and the size makes it easy to see. Great job GM! It really is the little things.

When I get more time I'm going to check out the other stuff. One thing on my list is to see if my see-through trailer cam works now. One can hope.
