Quite a bit is noticeably different on first glance between the two.

Really, like what? Same size, very similar bed shape, same overall shape. Some bits and pieces in the trim are different but at a first glance I think most folks would need to see the model name on the truck to know for sure.

Both trucks have distinct styling easy to tell apart especially the C pillar on the Sierra is much smaller.

I generally can tell if it’s a Ford, Chevy or RAM truck but that’s about it.
